about

searching for stuff in the aftermath of domestic violence. when u get abused heinously and repeatedly (and systematically actually, alongside many other femmes and lgbtq people) in a music scene and are thrown suddenly while homeless and completely traumatized into the role of a public spectacle as a victim due to the retaliatory actions of an abuser. and then experience a variety of threatening, unsettling, creepy, retaliatory, silencing, cruel, bullying, alienating, stigmatizing, demonizing, and dangerous actions because of that public victimhood and the requisite disclosures to the public associated with it (which were retraumatizing to do and were not done with enthusiasm but felt necessary at the time to defend myself from abuse. stuff like that or anything traumatizing. it fragments u and tries to make u lose yourself to cope. so you have to have love for your imagination and for your desires and really whatever parts of your soul or your uniqueness or your brain what have you that you can appreciate, so that you can stay a person, and you have to go looking for new ways to live life. it is lonely and weird and i make a lot of really cringy choices, so many but good and necessary in its way and yields cool results over time and even growth as a person/ soul etc.
